The studio is coming along!

Friday, October 1st, 2010

Day 2 of setting up the studio went well with the bulk of the equipment arriving and we made a good start on laying the flooring.

Special thanks to Matt and Adam for all the help today, you guys were lifesavers!

Thanks to Finn for the fruit salad and thanks to Damian for laying that one rubber floor tile! Damain’s help will really kick in when we use his borrowed ute to move out of the Randwick studio on Sunday.

What would I do without my fantastic clients!!!

Here’s a few more snapshots!

The pallets have arrived

I signed the lease and got the keys today!!!

Job number 1, get the blackboard wall completed before the flooring goes down.

The awesome blackboard workout wall

Job number 2, stick down the 6 rubber tiles I have to create an edge for laying the other 94 tiles tomorrow.

6 down, 94 to go...

Job number 3, get the lockers in place.

18 new lockers

Now tomorrow the fun begins when a lot of the equipment and all the rubber flooring arrive!

We’ll definitely be open on Tuesday as I am moving out of Randwick studio on the weekend. The place won’t be finished, but it will be great for training by Tuesday.

We will be waiting on signage, air conditioning, pull up bars and the extra concept 2 erg’s, but what we have got is all we need to get started!

It’s all very exciting!!!

Gyms the way they should be..

I came across this photo today. This is how a gym should look in my opinion, no fancy machines, no treadmills, no membership consultants and no televisions!

My Body Personal Training Studio Randwick incorporates Massage and Naturopathy

Monday, May 18th, 2009

Up at My Body Personal Training, Health and Wellness clinic in Randwick, we have welcomed 2 new team members.

Helen Cook of Coogee Massage is our new resident masseuse. Helen’s services include remedial, deep tissue, pregnancy massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, hot stone massage, facials and salt body scrub.

Helen provides Health fund rebates for her massage therapies.

Also to join the team is Simone Wallwork of Positive Wellness Solutions. Simone is a naturopath and Homeopath.

It was a long process for us to find the services that were suited to our clinic, but the wait was worthwhile now that we have some great natural therapists in house.

So if you are in need of a massuese or naturopath, please give them a call.
