Sugarfreefebuaree has been really easy for me this month! I pretty much continued not eating sugar since November and have found that even in December and January when i could have bought my usual big block of lindt excellence chocolate i didn't even crave it! Not only this, but my mother who does the grocery shopping and always comes home with 5 blocks of chocolate has stopped eating it too and i rarely hear her complaining about there not being any sweets in the house!
Also the family is loving soy and linseed bread- white bread just isn't tasty anymore!
My strategy this month has been to pre-prepare massive salads and soups for when i get the urge to snack. Having nothing fast & convenient but healthy to eat is probably the easiest way to slip up..
Luckily alcohol hasn’t been an issue because I never drank it anyway… But this whole experience has changed the way I eat and not just temporarily. I’m definitely feeling much healthier!

My main reason for not doing NOSUGARVEMBER was because I wasn't willing to give up having a drink or two on a Friday afternoon. SUGARFREEFEBRUARY is almost over and the alcohol issue has been non-existent. It's amazing what a night at the pub is like when you're only drinking sparkling mineral water... I actually remember everything that happened! Have to chuck in a confession and say that my one 'boo-boo' this month has been two small pieces of chocolate - and they were a gift from an appreciative 8-year old. How could I say no? Anyway - $10 is on its way to the Haiti appeal as penance.
