Yay... it's the last day of No-Sugar-Vember and I've survived the month (so far at least) without a drop of alcohol and no cakes, biscuits, etc.

I do need to fess up to a few slip ups over the past couple of days though. My sister cooked a lovely gnocci dish on Saturday night and we had the leftovers for dinner again last night. And today I had a white bread roll for lunch (no choice).

So here is the summary of my sins for the month;

- sushi rice and brown rice instead of basmati rice
- white and sourdough bread instead of multi-grain
- peanut butter (not the kind you buy in health food stores anyway)

I think that is it so, all in all, a pretty good achievement I think. I may even continue into December, although I am sure i won't last the month with christmas parties on the horizon!

Thanksgiving dinner ... four (or maybe five) champagnes. But I DIDN'T have the mashed potato, or the potato salad, or the potato bake, or the white bread rolls, or the pecan pie, or the chocolate cake, or the lemon tart or the ice cream ...
so there

ok so I have not been on here in a while so have some delayed confessions...

I went away with friends last weekend and there were cocktails, wine, bread and chocolate! I also had a couple of celebratory drinks after a friends play on friday night...oh and a glass of sangria at tapas on sat night.

After doing my thousands of burpees tonight I am sure I will be much better at this!!

Tim made a blueberry cheesecake for a friend's dinner party tonight. I tasted it but only because he'd made it. Two mouthfulls, did my burpees on the spot ... was the only sober one there and did NOT find it anywhere near as amusing as everyone else...

When i first started this challenge i thought it would be the chocolate and alcohol that would be my downfall... definitely not rice and bread!

I met up with some friends for brunch yesterday, and everything on the menu came with sourdough bread. Breakfast was delicous though!
